Some bands are born on stage. Others in studios, shaped by ambition and strategy.

Unvoid was born around a table, with nothing but cold beers and a world that had gone quiet.

It was 2020. Lockdown had stripped away everything that made life feel alive — the concerts, the bars, the casual freedom of being together. Five people from Neuchâtel, Switzerland, refused to let the silence win. What started as a simple excuse to socialise — to sit together, drink, breathe, exist — slowly became something else entirely. A conversation that never stopped. A sound that kept growing.

They began writing. Not for an audience, not for a release date, but for themselves. Song after song, the rehearsal room became their sanctuary. The music they made there was heavy with space, vast and unresolved — cosmic rock shaped by isolation, friendship, and the strange intimacy of years spent creating away from any spotlight.

By January 2024, the lineup found its permanent form: Lisa on vocals, Quentin on drums, Tobias on bass, Aurélien on keyboards, and Damien on the guitar. Five voices, five instruments, one shared vision. The chemistry that had always been there quietly locked into place.
For years, Unvoid composed, refined, and lived inside their music — far from stages, far from the noise of the scene. Until the music could no longer be contained.

On Sunday, May 24th 2026, Unvoid stepped out of the rehearsal room for the first time. Their debut show in Châbles, Estavayer-le-Lac marked the end of a long, necessary silence — and the beginning of something the five of them had been building, unknowingly, since the world first went still.

The void, at last, has a sound.
